About the Role

dForge is a metadata-driven operational platform. You define a model, and dForge generates the PostgreSQL schema, the operational UI, the security, and the audit trail. Business modules (CRM, inventory, HR, billing, and more) are built and installed on top of it.

With the dForge VS Code extension, AI assistants, and MCP tools, people without a development background can build complete modules. We’re looking for a Business Analyst who does exactly that: you understand how a business works, and you turn it into a working solution.

You’ll work with customers, partners, and our product and engineering team, and you’ll own modules and solutions from first conversation to installed result.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery with customers and partners: understand their processes, data, roles, approvals, and reporting needs
  • Document requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria clearly
  • Design domain models: entities, relationships, statuses, roles and rights, actions, and reports
  • Build and iterate on modules and solutions yourself using the VS Code extension, AI assistants, and dForge MCP tools
  • Test modules against real scenarios and demo data, and fix what doesn’t work
  • Write module documentation and guides so others can adopt your work
  • Feed what you learn from customers back to the product team to shape the roadmap

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, functional consultant, or similar
  • Strong requirements elicitation and process mapping skills (BPMN or similar)
  • Comfort with data modeling: entities, relationships, statuses, and permissions
  • Hands-on AI fluency: you use AI assistants daily and can turn a business problem into a working result with them (prior coding experience is not required)
  • Experience with business applications such as ERP, CRM, or operations tools
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English
  • Structured, detail-oriented approach, with a habit of testing your own work

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a specific industry domain (finance, logistics, HR, public sector, property management)
  • Experience implementing or configuring low-code/no-code, ERP/CRM, or metadata-driven platforms
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or relational databases
  • Experience with AI agents, MCP, or prompt-driven workflows
  • Background in QA, support, or consulting
  • Experience in an early-stage startup

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation
  • Remote-first culture with flexible working hours
  • Direct influence on how modules and the platform evolve
  • A small, collaborative team
  • Professional growth opportunities
